General Terms and Conditions
Welcome to www.ignitionmicrodosing.com, a digital marketplace dedicated to offering premium microdosing truffles, designed to enhance your well-being and cognitive functions.
Article 1 – Definitions
In these terms and conditions the following definitions apply:
Withdrawal period: the period within which the customer can make use of his right of withdrawal;
- Customer: the natural person whose actions are not carried out for the objectives relating to the course of a trade, a profession or a business;
- Day: calendar day;
- Digital Content: data produced and delivered in digital form;
- Durable medium: every tool - including e-mail - which enables the customer or Ignition Retreats to store information which is addressed to him or her personally, in a way that allows future consultation or use during a period which is tailored to the purpose for which the information is intended, and which enables the unaltered reproduction of the stored information;
- Right of withdrawal: the possibility of the customer to waive the distance contract within the cooling-off period;
- Distance contract: an agreement that is concluded between Ignition Retreats and the customer within the framework of an organized system for distance selling of products, digital content and/or services, whereby until the conclusion of the agreement exclusive or partial use is made of one or more techniques for distance communication
- Model withdrawal form: the European model withdrawal form included in Appendix I to these Terms and Conditions. Appendix I does not have to be made available if the customer does not have a right of withdrawal with regard to his order;
- Technique for distance communication: means that can be used for the conclusion of an agreement, without the customer and Ignition Retreats having to be together in the same place at the same time.
Article 2 – Identity of the entrepreneur
- Ignition Microdosing is operated by Ignition Retreats, a company registered at the Dutch chamber of commerce under the registration number 87394499, with its registered office at Schutsstraat 20, 5737 EW Lieshout.
- Ignition Retreats products and services include, but are not limited to, the following products: Microdosing truffles and Lion’s Mane, and the following services (not limited to): conducting online and offline truffle ceremonies, do-it-yourself home microdosing truffle journeys, publishing information and education materials in the field of truffles, other fungi and plant medicine, providing non-medical advice on the use of truffles, other fungi and plant medicine, creating and delivering (online) trainings, programs, e-books, brochures, blogs, podcasts and lectures.
- All of Ignition Retreats products and services are hereinafter referred to collectively as ‘Products and Services’, or where applicable, separately as ‘Products’ or ‘Services’.
Article 3 – Applicability
- These general terms of conditions apply to every offer made by Ignition Retreats and to every agreement/distance contract that has been realized between Ignition Retreats and a customer (as customer) and to all Products and Services provided by Ignition Retreats to the client.
- Before the distance contract is concluded, the text of these general terms and conditions will be made available to the customer.
- If the distance contract is concluded electronically, then, contrary to the previous paragraph and before the distance contract is concluded, the text of these general terms and conditions can be made available to the customer electronically in such a way that the customer can be easily stored on a durable medium. If this is not reasonably possible, before the distance contract is concluded, it will be indicated where the general terms and conditions can be consulted electronically and that they will be sent free of charge electronically or otherwise at the request of the customer.
- In case in addition to these general conditions also specific product or service conditions apply, the second and third paragraphs shall apply mutatis mutandis and the customer in case of conflicting conditions always rely on the applicable provision that is most favorable to him.
Article 4 – The offer
- If an offer has a limited period of validity or is made subject to conditions, this shall be explicitly stated in the offer.
- The offer contains a complete and accurate description of the products, digital content and/or services offered. The description is sufficiently detailed to allow a good assessment of the offer by the customer. If Ignition Microdosing uses images, these are a true reflection of the products, services and / or digital content offered. Ignition Retreats is not bound by obvious mistakes or errors in the offer.
- Each offer contains such information that it is clear to the customer what rights and obligations are attached to accepting the offer.
Article 5 – The agreement
- The contract is concluded, subject to the provisions of paragraph 3, at the moment at which the customer accepts the offer and the corresponding conditions are fulfilled.
- If the customer has accepted the offer electronically, Ignition Retreats will immediately confirm receipt of electronic acceptance of the offer. As long as the receipt of this acceptance has not been confirmed by Ignition Retreats, the customer may dissolve the contract.
- Ignition Retreats may, within the limits of the law - inform whether the customer can meet his or her payment obligations, as well as all those facts and factors which are important for a responsible conclusion of the distance contract. If, on the basis of this investigation, Ignition Retreats has good reason not to enter into the agreement, she is entitled to refuse an order or application or to bind its implementation to special conditions.
- The customers order is complete and the agreement between Ignition Retreats and the clients is final once Ignition Retreats confirms the order in writing and once Ignition Retreats has received approval form the customer’s bank or credit card company for the approval of the payment transaction. If the issuer of the client’s credit card does not approve payment to Ignition Retreats, Ignition Retreats cannot be held responsible for delays in delivery and/or non-delivery of Products or Services. Order without valid payment in the name of the registered credit card holder will not be accepted or processed.
Article 6 – Precluding the right of withdrawal programs and products
Ignition Retreats precludes the right of withdrawal for the following products and services, as stated clearly when making the offer, or at least in good time prior to the conclusion of the contract:
- Ignition Retreats programs, workshops and retreats: as a program, workshop or retreat includes a contract providing access to accommodation, training, activities and food and beverages for a specific date or period;
- Ignition Retreats products that are subject to rapid decay or a limited shelf-life, or products that, for reasons relating to the protection of health and hygiene, are unsuited for returning.
Article 7 – Rights of withdrawal for other products
Upon delivery of products:
- The customer can terminate an agreement related to the purchase of a product during a reflection period of at least 14 days without giving any reason. Ignition Retreats is allowed ask the customer about the reason for withdrawal, but is under no obligation to state his/her reason(s).
- The cooling off period mentioned in paragraph 1 starts on the day after the customer, or a third party designated by the customer in advance, and who is not the transporting partner, has received the product, or:
- if the customer has ordered several products in the same order: the day on which the customer, or a third party designated by the customer, has received the last product. Ignition Retreats may, provided she has clearly informed the customer prior to the ordering process, refuse a single order for several products with a different delivery time.
- if the delivery of a product involves several shipments or parts: the day on which the customer, or a third party designated by him or her, received the last shipment or the last part;
- in case of contracts for regular delivery of products during a given period: the day on which the customer, or a third party designated by him or her, has received the first product.
For services and digital content that is not supplied on a material medium:
- The customer can terminate a service contract and a contract for delivery of digital content not supplied on a material medium during a reflection period of at least 14 days without giving any reason. Ignition Retreats is allowed ask the customer about the reason for withdrawal but is under no obligation to state his/her reason(s).
- The cooling-off period mentioned in paragraph 3 starts on the day the contract was concluded.
Article 8 – Customers’ obligations during the withdrawal period
During the 14-day cooling off period, the customer will handle he products and their packaging with care. He or she shall only unpack or use the product in as far as necessary in order to assess the nature, characteristics and efficacy of the product. The starting point here is that the customer may only handle and inspect the product in the same way that he or she would be allowed in a shop.
Article 9 – Customers who exercise their right of withdrawal and costs thereof
- If the customer exercises his/her right of withdrawal, he/she shall notify Ignition Retreats within the cooling off period by means of the model form for withdrawal or in any other unambiguous manner.
- As soon as possible, but within 14 days from the day following the notification referred to in paragraph 1, the customer shall return the product, or hand it over to (an authorized representative of) the Ignition Retreats. The customer will in any case have complied with the time for returning goods if he or she sends the product back before the withdrawal period has lapsed.
- The constumer shall return the product with all relevant accessories, if reasonably possible in original condition and packaging, and in accordance with the reasonable and clear instructions provided by the trader.
- The risk and the burden of proof for the correct and timely exercise of the right of withdrawal rest upon the customer.
- The customer bears the direct costs of returning the product. If Ignition Retreats has declared that the customer must bear these costs or if Ignition Retreats indicates to bear the costs herself, the customer shall not be liable to bear the costs of returning goods.
- If a customer exercise his/her right of withdrawal, all supplementary agreements are legally dissolved.
Article 10 – Ignition Retreats’ obligation in a case of withdrawal
- If Ignition Retreats makes it possible for a customer to declare his/her withdrawal via electronic means, then after receiving such a declaration, Ignition Retreats shall send an acknowledgement of receipt of this notification without delay.
- Any payments will be refunded as soon as possible, including any delivery costs Ignition Retreats charged for the returned product, at the latest within 14 days following on the day on which the clients reports the withdrawal and has properly returned the products or services.
- If the customer chose an expensive method of delivery in preference to the cheapest standard delivery, Ignition Microdosing does not have to refund additional costs of the more expensive method.
- Ignition Retreats will use the same means of payment as the customer, unless the customer agrees to another payment method being used.
Article 11 – Exclusion of right of withdrawal
- Services of which the delivery/execution by Ignition Retreats has already started with the consent of the client can no longer be withdrawn or revoked.
- Exclusion of the right of withdrawal is only possible for products:
- that have been created by Ignition Retreats in accordance with the customer’s specifications;
- which are clearly of a personal nature;
- which cannot be returned due to their nature;
- which can spoil or rot quickly or have a short shelf life
- which are not suitable to be returned for reasons of health or hygiene
- whose seal or packaging has been broken after delivery
Article 12 – The price
- During the validity period mentioned in the offer, the prices of the products and/or services offered will not be increased, except for price changes as a result of changes in VAT rates.
- Price increases within 3 months after the conclusion of the contract are only allowed if they are the result of statutory regulations or stipulations.
- Price increases from 3 months after the conclusion of the contract are only allowed if Ignition Retreats has stipulated it and:
they are the result of statutory regulations or stipulations; or
b. the customer is authorized to terminate the contract on the day on which the price increase takes effect. - Prices stated in offers of products or services include VAT.
- Discount codes are personal and cannot be transferred to other persons or user accounts unless otherwise stated.
Article 13 – Fulfilment of agreement and additional warranty
Ignition Retreats guarantees that the products and / or services fulfill the contract, the specifications stated in the offer, the reasonable requirements of reliability and / or serviceability and the agreement existing legal provisions and / or government regulations that existed on the date of the conclusion.
Article 14 – Delivery and execution
- Ignition Retreats will take the greatest possible care when receiving and in the processing of orders of products and in assessing applications for the provision of services.
- The place of delivery is the address that the customer has made known to the Ignition Retreats.
- Ignition Retreats shall execute accepted orders with convenient speed but at least within 30 days, unless a different period of delivery has been agreed. If the delivery has been delayed, or if an order cannot be processed, or only partially, the customer will be informed about this within 30 days after he or she has placed the order. In this case, the customer has the right to terminate the contract without penalty and the right to possible damages.
- After dissolution in accordance with the previous paragraph, Ignition Retreats refunds the customer the amount paid immediately.
- The risk of damage and/or loss of products rests with Ignition Retreats up to the moment of delivery to the customer or a previously designated and announced to Ignition Retreats representative, unless this has explicitly been agreed otherwise.
Article 15 – Cancellation by Ignition Retreats
- Ignition Retreats has the right to cancel the delivery of ordered products and services, for example in the following cases:
- in case of non-payment of invoices by the client, despite reminders by Ignition Retreats;
- in case of failure or refusal of the client to follow any advice given by Ignition Retreats;
- in case of failure of refusal of the client to provide full disclosure or otherwise act in such a way that it undermines a proper delivery or performance of the products or services by Ignition Retreats.
- Ignition Retreats is also entitled to cancel, without any giving reason, a service that has yet to be delivered as such, for example a ceremony or retreat with psilocybin containing truffles. In that case, the invoice already sent to the client will be credited.
Article 16 – Limitation of Liability
- Ignition Retreats will perform its services for the client with care and to the best of its ability, but Ignition Retreats cannot guarantee any particular outcome or certain results. The experience of the products or services is personal and different for everyone.
- Ignition Retreats disclaims all liability for any illness, injury, death, property loss or damage, caused (in part) by any provided misinformation by the customer by Ignition Retreats or caused by not (fully) following instructions provided by Ignition Retreats to the customer.
- The customer is aware that due to the innovative services provided by Ignition Retreats, the liability of Ignition Retreats is limited to reasonable direct out-of-pocket damages, actually incurred by the customer, with a liability cap of the amount paid by the customer to Ignition Retreats for the specific service(s) and products(s) provide by Ignition Retreats to customer. Ignition Retreats will not be liable under any circumstances for any indirect, special, punitive, accidental of consequential damages.
- Ignition Retreats sources its products from carefully selected suppliers in the field of plant medicines and related products. Plant medicines may possibly influence regular medicines (interaction). When in doubt, always consult a doctor or pharmacist.
- Ignition Retreats is not a medical specialist of physician and expressly disclaims any liability for health complaints on the part of the client.
Article 17 – Payment
- All sums payable by the customer for products are paid at the time an order is placed through the website. Products that are subject to rapid decay or with a limited shelf-life, cannot be returned and will not be refunded, unless customer can demonstrate that the products did not meet the reasonable requirements and/or description of the purchased products as describe by Ignition Retreats on the website at the time of delivery.
- In case customer enters into an agreement with Ignition Retreats for any kind of (online) service, a down-payment will be paid at registration and the remainder is due 14 days before the start of the service. If payment isn’t received in full at least 7 days before the start of the service, the customer will not be allowed to participate and customer will not be able to claim any refunds to compensate Ignition Retreats for the upfront costs and preparations of such reservation and service.
- When prepayment is stipulated, the customer cannot assert any rights regarding the execution of the relevant order or service (s) before the stipulated prepayment has taken place.
- The customer has the duty to immediately report inaccuracies in payment data provided or mentioned to Ignition Retreats.
- If customer cancels any reservation for a service provided by Ignition Retreats, the following Cancellation or Rescheduling fees apply:

- If the customer does not timely fulfill his payment obligation(s), he/she is, after being notified by Ignition Retreats of the late payment and Ignition Retreats has given the customer a period of 14 days to still fulfill his payment obligations, after the failure to pay within this 14-day period, the statutory interest on the amount due and Ignition Retreats is entitled to charge extrajudicial collection costs. These collection costs amount to a maximum of: 15% on outstanding amounts up to € 2500; 10% on the following € 2500 and 5% on the following € 5000, with a minimum of € 40. Ignition Retreats can make departures from these sums and percentages that are favorable to the customer.
Article 18 – Feedback and complaints procedure
- All compliments, comments and complaints can be directed at Ignition Retreats at caroline@ignitionretreats.com
- Complaints about the implementation of the agreement must be submitted to Ignition Retreats after the customer has found the defects, without delay, fully and clearly described through the aforementioned e-mail address.
- Complaints submitted to the Ignition Retreats shall be answered within a period of 30 days, calculated from the date of receipt. If a complaint requires a longer processing time, Ignition Retreats will respond within the period of 14 days with a message of receipt and an indication when the customer can expect a more elaborate reply.
- The customer should give Ignition Retreats at least 8 weeks to resolve the complaint in mutual agreement. After this period a dispute arises that is subject to the dispute resolution procedure.
Article 19 – Disputes
Only Dutch law applies to agreements between Ignition Retreats and the customer to which these general terms and conditions apply.

Appendix II: Customer acknowledgements
BY ENTERING INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH IGNITION RETREATS FOR PURCHASING A (PSYCEDELIC) PRODCUTS OR PARTICIPATE IN A PROGRAM, THE CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT:
- I am at least 18 years old at the time of purchasing a psychedelic program or product;
- I will abide by these terms and conditions and, when participating in a program, all other instructions provided by Ignition Retreats from time to time;
- I am obliged to provide the requested information about my personal (medical) situation and keep all the information accurate and up to date. I consent that Ignition Retreats will process a limited amount of personal data regarding my health during the registration process to determine if I am eligible to participate in the program;
- I am aware that the Ignition Retreats programs or products have no promise to heal or cure and may or may not benefit my personal growth or wellbeing;
- I am aware that my participation in a program and/or the use of products is at my own risk. I accept the limitation of liability of Ignition Retreats as described in these Terms and Conditions;
- I am aware that Ignition Retreats program guides are not all licensed psychotherapists or psychologists and do not provide medical advice. Reliance on any information provided by Ignition Retreats is solely at your own risk.
- I am aware that if I cancel or reschedule my booking, cancellation or rescheduling fees may apply.
